The Town of Ocean City is a frequent destination for vacationers on the East Coast. This 3.5 MW solar farm supports the town’s goal to expand its renewable energy portfolio while reducing its expected annual electric bill. The electricity generated through a 20-year power purchase agreement provides for an estimated 20% of the town’s current annual energy use. The installation delivers energy for several of the town’s key buildings, including its city hall, convention center and water plant.
"This solar array is a leading project of its kind and a true example of the Town of Ocean City’s commitment to renewable energy and a sustainable future for our resort community."
