The Town of Ocean City is a frequent destination for vacationers on the East Coast. This 3.5 MW solar farm supports the town’s goal to expand its renewable energy portfolio while reducing its expected annual electric bill. The electricity generated through a 20-year power purchase agreement provides for an estimated 20% of the town’s current annual energy use. The installation delivers energy for several of the town’s key buildings, including its city hall, convention center and water plant.
