Valerie Hannah is Chief Executive Officer of Luminace. Ms. Hannah has a decade of experience with Brookfield Asset Management having served in a number of senior roles.
Ms. Hannah previously served as Chief Operating Officer of TerraForm Power, where she was responsible for leading and growing the company’s portfolio of solar and wind assets located primarily in the U.S. and E.U., totaling more than 4,200 MW of installed capacity. She also previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Renewable Group’s North American business.
Ms. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, a Graduate Diploma from McGill University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.
Jennifer Ritchie
Chief Financial Officer
Jennifer Ritchie is Chief Financial Officer of Luminace, drawing from almost a decade of experience across different finance functions at Brookfield Asset Management in Toronto and New York.
Ms. Ritchie played a key role in the spin-out of Brookfield Business Partners, where she led several finance functions under the CFO, before leading a team which oversaw finance and operations for Brookfield’s Asset Management business, and Investor Relations for Brookfield’s public company investors.
Ms. Ritchie holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Honors, from Queen's University, and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants, and a CFA charter holder.
Elizabeth Mayo
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Elizabeth Mayo oversees asset performance, customer care and health, safety, security and environmental matters. She is responsible for optimizing generation, identifying repowering opportunities and working with existing customers on new DER opportunities.
Before joining Brookfield in 2020, Dr. Mayo was the Global Director of Solar Services at Underwriter’s Laboratory, managing the Solar Consulting Practice for due diligence, energy services and asset management. Prior to that, she was Head of Department at DNV GL, where she managed the technical engineering teams and ran the operation of the PV Evolution Testing labs for modules, inverters and batteries.
Dr. Mayo holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science Education degree from Florida State University, as well as a Ph.D. in Chemistry from California Institute of Technology.
Elizabeth Sampson
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Elizabeth Sampson leads technology across Luminace, including Business and Operations technology, Data Analytics platforms, and Cybersecurity. She currently spearheads Luminace’s digital transformation initiative.
Ms. Sampson brings nearly eight years of experience with Brookfield Asset Management and Brookfield Renewable portfolio companies in New York. Prior to Brookfield, she worked with GE and Genpact for a combined 14 years.
Ms. Sampson holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honors, from Calcutta University.
Brendon Quinlivan
Senior Vice President, Distributed Generation
As Senior Vice President of Distributed Generation, Brendon Quinlivan leads the Development team across U.S. markets, including the sales, development, engineering and construction for all DG customer and channel partnership engagements. Mr. Quinlivan has focused his expertise on the rapid deployment of customer-sited project development, which has created a robust customer and solar asset base within the Luminace portfolio.
Prior to joining Luminace, Mr. Quinlivan was Vice President for Constellation’s Distributed Solar platform, which he joined in 2011. Prior to Constellation he served in various business development and sales management roles within SunEdison.
Mr. Quinlivan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Real Estate Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
Robert Rabe
As Vice President of Origination, Robert Rabe leads all distributed energy sales and origination efforts for the business.
Prior to joining Luminace, Mr. Rabe was the Head of Origination of Constellation’s solar business, leading the sales and origination team. Prior to Constellation, he successfully founded and sold a solar development business, and more recently was General Manager for a national EPC business, before selling that business to a large private equity firm in 2016. Mr. Rabe has successfully originated and closed over 500MWs of distributed solar projects since 2009.
Mr. Rabe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Wilkes University.

Carlos Floresguerra
Senior Vice President, Corporate Development
As Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Carlos Floresguerra helps lead corporate and strategic partnerships and growth initiatives for the business.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2019, Mr. Floresguerra was the Head of Development for GE’s solar development platform, leading project development and finance teams. Prior to GE, he led the project development group at Safari Energy, rolling out national solar portfolios for large REIT customers.
Mr. Floresguerra earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Moss Weinstock
Vice President, Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development at Luminace, Moss Weinstock helps lead investments in M&A, partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives for the business.
Prior to joining Luminace, Mr. Weinstock was a Vice President in Macquarie’s Green Investment Group, where he acted in a principal investment and advisory capacity across a range of green energy verticals. Mr. Weinstock previously held other roles at Macquarie focused on renewable energy M&A, advisory, and capital markets transactions.
Mr. Weinstock earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.
